Participation du bjCSIRT au FIRSTCON 2026 : une présence stratégique au sein du réseau FIRST

Le bjCSIRT était présent au 38ᵉ Congrès annuel du Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), organisé du 14 au 19 juin 2026 à Denver, dans l’État du Colorado, aux États-Unis. Plus grand rassemblement annuel de la communauté mondiale de la réponse aux incidents, cette édition a réuni des CSIRT nationaux, des PSIRT et des chercheurs en sécurité autour de travaux techniques, d’ateliers de formation et de sessions de partage.

Tout au long de la semaine, la délégation béninoise a assisté aux présentations et multiplié les rencontres avec ses homologues, l’occasion d’actualiser sa veille et de nouer de nouveaux contacts au sein du réseau FIRST. Cette présence confirme l’ancrage durable de l’équipe dans cette communauté, dans la continuité de ses participations passées, parmi lesquelles Fukuoka, au Japon, en 2024, puis Copenhague, au Danemark, en 2025. Les sessions ont également permis de situer les pratiques du bjCSIRT au regard de celles d’organisations de référence et d’en dégager des pistes concrètes de progrès.

Au-delà des échanges techniques, cette participation traduit une conviction constante : c’est en confrontant ses méthodes à celles de ses pairs et en s’inscrivant dans la durée au sein du réseau FIRST que le bjCSIRT consolide ses propres capacités, tout en apportant sa part à un écosystème mondial de la réponse aux incidents fondé sur l’entraide.

The bjCSIRT participated in the 38th Annual FIRST Conference, held from June 14 to 19, 2026, in Denver, Colorado, United States. As the largest annual gathering of the global incident response community, this edition brought together national CSIRTs, PSIRTs, and security researchers for technical presentations, training workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Throughout the week, the Beninese delegation attended numerous technical sessions and engaged with incident response teams from around the world, providing an opportunity to strengthen its threat intelligence, exchange experiences, and establish new connections within the FIRST community. This participation further reinforces the team’s long-standing commitment to the network, following previous conferences in Fukuoka, Japan (2024) and Copenhagen, Denmark (2025). The sessions also enabled the bjCSIRT to benchmark its practices against those of leading organizations and identify concrete opportunities for continuous improvement.

Beyond the technical discussions, this participation reflects a long-standing conviction: by continuously comparing its methods with those of its peers and maintaining an active presence within the FIRST community, the bjCSIRT strengthens its own capabilities while contributing to a global incident response ecosystem built on trust, collaboration, and mutual assistance.
